i walk into my room, my abaya smells of cigarettes i haven't smoked and my feet are killing me. It's a bit late, i know, dad was waiting for us in the living room.

"where have u been?" he asked. "at this exhibition...". little does he know about that exhibition. I've always admired those people, and the fact that they take time off their lives to make the world a more beautiful place. if i cant make the world a better place, i can at least make it a place more to fit my fancy! it was so beautiful.

I have never even imagined to be surrounded by so much art. The outcome of so many people's lives, hanging them on the walls with my own hands. At that moment, I couldn't care less if no-one showed up, I just wanted to lie down on the ground and stare at all this.

It drove me crazy, but it was worth it. Fayiz, Shari, Squeek and Kholoud, i cant thank them enough. and i'm sorry if i were ever so bossy. i did gain a better insight at the amount of my anti-sociality, but then again, it was worth it.

i need to sleep. i think.

Il pleure dans mon coeur
Comme il pleut sur la ville,
Quelle est cette langueur
Qui pénètre mon coeur?

Do u remember ur 1st trip to the old city?
Frankly, I don’t. the old city has always been a familiar place to me for as long as I remember.
I’ve always loved Al-Rawasheen.
We go to Al-Bay’a roundabout then take a right into Al-Mazloom. Then a left and there is Al-Falah School. I can never get that road wrong. To the left is Bab Makkah. Further along the way is Soog Al-Bado.
Dad is holding my hand tight and pulling me with him through the crowd. Walking on that chipped and broken tile. I’ve always thought it was the most beautiful thing, that tile. I love the ground, the sky and all those colours in the shops. Its always Alive, the old city is.
The noise of people chattering. The smells of spices, incense and cheap perfume all mingle and then separate. Someone is laughing, a child is crying somewhere, a cart falls and the boxes clatter, such a delightful noise.

Virginia Woolf: “...In people’s eyes, in the swing, tramp, and trudge; in the bellow and the uproar...”

So beautiful.

Le pire est encore à venir...

Looking at the sky...

Reading: Lippincott's Biochemistry

I think I should write something.
I’m not writing because I’m happy, I’m just writing because it’s about time I wrote something. It’s not about moving on with my life, I’m not over it yet. God knows I might never get over it. But its about time, I can feel it.
I think I should paint tonight. If I can’t study, I’ll do something I love.
This scented candle smells like candy. Minty, spicy and fruity all together.
I miss candy apples. And caramel pop-corn.
Isso got me a tulip two days ago, a white one. It’s so beautiful, and so sad. It looked so pure and pearly, but looking at it, I can c its end drawing closer. I don’t want it to die.
Ophelia Bubbles likes mocha. She stands by my windowsill at night, looking down at the empty street.
I’ll go eat an apple.

I Love You.

He passed away.
I am not crying the father of my father, but crying the man who raised me, fed me and watered me. If anyone is ever to b worth my mourning, it is him.
Its been a year, 3 months and 12 days since my grandmother left him. she must b happy now.

Allah yir7amo w yi3’firlo.
